Temporary Service Disruption
Dear Drug Comparison Member,
I owe you an update.
Earlier I said we expected to be back within the hour. The situation has changed. Our hosting provider and their data centre are still working on a cooling fault and we have not been able to restore service on the original infrastructure.
Rather than wait any longer, we are now restoring Drug Comparison from our own backup database. This will take approximately two hours from now. I will write again the moment we are back up.
I know this is frustrating, especially mid-day. The responsibility for this sits with us regardless of the cause, and I am sorry.
In the meantime, please use your wholesaler portals directly to place any urgent orders.
Once service is back I will send a full incident report, including what we are doing to make sure this does not happen again.
